Talbina

Wholegrain Barley Flour - high quality stone milled flour 

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to recommend talbina for the sick and for one who was grieving over a dead person.She said, "I heard the Messenger (SAW)saying, ' The talbina gives rest to the heart of the patient and makes it active and relieves some of his sorrow and grief"

Hadith:Bukhari

Instructions:

1.Pour 1-2 tablespoons of barley flour into 1-2 cups of water or milk.

2.Stir on low heat for about 10-15 minutes or until a porridge-like consistency is reached.

3.Sweeten with honey to your liking.

Can be blended with yoghurt and dates to make a

smoothie and can be used as a thickener for gravy
